Financial Considerations

Fees for treatment vary, depending on the severity of the problem, the length of treatment, and the appliance therapy required for correction. We make every effort to contain the cost of the orthodontic care. At your consultation appointment, the total fee for your orthodontic treatment will be discussed. We will work with you to arrange for payment in a way that is comfortable for you.

Many insurance plans have orthodontic benefits which will further reduce the cost of treatment. We will be happy to discuss any questions you may have concerning your insurance to help you receive the maximum benefits due to you.

Orthodontic Records

We must go to some effort to study each case individually in order to render a proper opinion. This study requires orthodontic records (models, head films, photos, bite registration, etc.). It requires that the orthodontist spend time to evaluate these records and spend the necessary time to thoroughly explain the findings to the patient. All orthodontic cases are different. There are variations in tooth size, number of teeth present, and the relationship the teeth have to each other and the adjoining cranium or skeletal structures. These are also vast differences in the general skeletal structural relationships of the jaws to each other. To reach the proper opinion you can see the need for extensive records.
